We have enthusiastically designed and implemented new office space for MOL in Prague, located in the BREEAM-certified River Corner building where we are based and where we have already created the reception of the year 2023, the premium VasMedic clinic and a large terrace. The new project brings a harmonious blend of MOL's global identity and the unique local atmosphere we have sensed by working closely with the wider management team.
Fuel for the whole team's performance
The design of the new offices spread over two floors was inspired by movement, energy and the flow of ideas, which is reflected in the dynamic waves that run through the interior.
These elements symbolize openness and growth, while recalling the company's roots in the oil and gas industry. In the conference rooms, we have incorporated motifs from the different countries where MOL has offices, underlining the international dimension of the brand and its global collaboration.
For recharging energy
The work areas were designed with an emphasis on light, cleanliness and quiet. Light colour tones encourage concentration and productivity, while zones for relaxation and informal gatherings use darker shades and cosy materials.
The corridors are lined with arched entrances to the rooms, giving a very sophisticated feel and creating a seamless transition between zones.
Modern design chairs and rich greenery suspended from the ceiling give the space a unique character and a feeling of closeness to nature. Large glass areas provide plenty of daylight and offer views of the city. A light carpet with an interesting geometric pattern visually separates the zones and gives the space a clearly defined atmosphere. The space offers employees the opportunity to relax, recharge and be inspired in an environment that is pleasant and functional.
Ready for the next ride
Although MOL's Prague offices have a less futuristic impression than the 24- floor MOL Campus office building, they do not lose any of their representativeness, attractiveness and functionality.
The new design not only promotes corporate culture, but also motivates employees to be creative and collaborative. The result is a space that fully reflects MOL's values and where innovative ideas are
born with joy.
We have managed to create a modern and efficient working environment that suits all colleagues across generations. We've turned the office into a place people look forward to.
This project was an opportunity to show how functional design can enrich the working environment for MOL employees.
